Walk to Calvary

This Easter marks the 8th year GGCF has presented “holy week” in a unique way! The entire property is transformed and people are invited to take a guided tour through the events leading up to the Crucifixion of Jesus and finally witness the event that happened after, the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Whether you know the story or not, when you see this production you will be challenged to think of who Jesus was, and is.

Jesus came here with power beyond what we know, but also with kindness and love of such quality that had not been seen in action before. He came for everyone, no exceptions, no qualifications. He did not care about social stature, or financial achievements. He did not turn any away because of their sin, physical problems, or racial differences. He did not come to get, observe, or assess. He came for one reason: to save us from our sins.

That is what this presentation is about, Jesus coming to save us! To die for our sins and take our place in that thing that is certain for everyone, death. But it gets better, because death could not contain him; Jesus overcame it! John 3:16 says, “God so loved the world, that He gave His son…” God’s love is the motivating force behind reality! The end verse says, “whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” This is the offer: believe that Christ died for your sins, and also in your place, so that you can have eternal life-a life with God that is beyond death.

So come out, and see how we tell this amazing story. Hear Jesus speak with Nicodemus, see Him touch broken people, watch Him unjustly judged and condemned, and put to death. Then, watch Him overcome death and obtain something for you, your eternal salvation.
