It’s with great joy at the end of the year, when the church is asked to trust and pray for our international convention. But this time the expectation was different because we had a great expectation from God with joy in our hearts, for what He was going to do.
The dates of the convention was January 18th-20th 2019. On the 21st we had a leadership section where we had about 63 leaders and pastors present.
This convention hosted believers from around the world. From about TEN countries. (USA, CANADA, TOGO, BURKINA FASO, COTE D” IVOIRE, BENIN,GABON, MALI, AND NIGER)
Our main speaker Pastor Steve Scibelli from USA, is from our home church in Baltimore Maryland. He is also the mission director of Greater Grace World Outreach. As much as Pastor Scibelli is and always has been a great blessing to us, the awesome part is that he didn’t come alone. Pastor Scibelli came with Mr. Roland from the Baltimore church, Pastor Witt from the Dover Plains church, Pastor Bailey Norman from the Marlboro church, but from the Marlboro church Pastor Bailey came with some of the most lively people we have ever seen. He came with Armando, Joyce, Jessica, Brian, and Jonah. Joyce and Jessica blessed us with their angelic voice with a great song. Sharing fellowship around these people was the life of God on earth. We had a great time of fellowship.
We cannot talk about all of this without a sharing of the power of the word of God. With a great convention theme, which was taken from Heb 13:8 ( Jesus Christ the same Yesterday today and forever). We enjoyed God through all services as well as graduation on Saturday evening, where 52 students graduated with certificates, diplomas and degrees, also with license to preach and ordination.
We heard messages that built up and everyone left edified by God, and the power of His word. I am sure you who are reading this, have heard about our convention and in one way or the other have prayed for us. Your prayers worked and God showed himself faithful to us, to grant all our guests traveling mercies, and blessed us.
