Pastor Bailey Norman

Pastor Bailey Norman comes to the pulpit each week with a sincere and humble heart to lead the church and fulfill God’s call on his life. He serves a church and community where all are welcome, families are built up and encouraged, and the finished work of Jesus Christ is preached and taught clearly and unequivocally.

Born in rural New York State and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Pastor Bailey attended Greater Grace Christian Academy, graduated from Maryland Bible College and Seminary (MBC&S) in 2007, and was ordained in 2009. As a Missions major, he actively applied what he learned in the classroom to help plant and establish churches in Pretoria (South Africa) Lusaka (Zambia) and Silver Spring, Maryland. Pastor Bailey has also visited and served in Finland, Turkey, Puerto Rico, England and Ireland.

His first missionary experience came as a high school freshman, when his family served in Budapest, Hungary, and he attended an international Christian school with students from over 25 countries. On the Mission field, Pastor Bailey learned how to serve people.

As an assistant pastor to Pastor Kim Shibley in Silver Spring, he directed evangelism, led Bible studies and taught Bible College courses while working to support his wife and two children. He married New Hampshire native Jessica Mott in 2007, after meeting in Bible College. Their kids keep them on their knees, whether praying or playing. An active athlete in school, playing baseball, basketball, and golf, Pastor Bailey still has time to join the youth group and compete!
